BUSINESS PARTNERS’ PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING NOTICE – GDPR

Personal Data Protection Statement

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – hereinafter the “Regulation”, particularly Section 13 thereof. Customer information is stored in compliance with relevant legislation in the Czech Republic, particularly Czech Republic Law no. 101/2000 – the Personal Data Protection Act, as amended. By entering into a contract, the Buyer consents to the collection and processing of its personal data in the Seller’s database, including after the fulfilment of the contract, and until such time as the Buyer may withdraw its consent in writing. The Buyer has the right to access its personal data and the right to have its personal data corrected, as well as other rights relating to such data under Czech legislation. Your personal data is held as confidential; our business partners, such as banks and payment card operators, are the only third parties to which this data may be provided, and then only for a particular purpose, such as a financial transaction. The sole exception is external shipping companies, who receive customer personal data in the minimal extent required to fulfil your delivery.

By placing an order you agree to the processing of your personal data in the extent required to process and deliver your order. You also consent to us sending you updates on the status of your order.

E-mail newsletter subscription: By entering your e-mail address, you consent to us sending you e-mail newsletters relating to new products and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time; all newsletter e-mails contain a direct ‘unsubscribe’ link. We will only use your e-mail address for the purpose stated above; in no event will it be shared with third parties. The Buyer may request the Seller to cancel the Buyer’s newsletter subscription and / or to delete the Buyer’s address from the Seller’s database, by sending an e-mail to info (at) 2dto3dstudio.com.

Customer Personal Data Processing Information

This document is intended to inform you on the manner and scope of the processing of your personal data. We kindly ask you to read the document carefully and, if you have any questions, contact us at info (at) 2dto3dstudio.com. The privacy of our customers and the protection of their personal data are important to us. All our personal data processing complies with applicable law.

 

Purposes of Customer Personal Data Processing

We process your personal data in the scope required to process your order. Personal data provided to the Controller by registered users, including user behavior tracking, is processed by an automated system for the purposes of:
 
- registration at our website
- free provision of bonus materials
- communication regarding business partnerships
- marketing communication from us 
 
Your provision of your personal data is entirely voluntary; however, in the event you decline to provide the personal data we require to provide our services, we will be unable to render such services to you.

 

Legitimate Interests in the Processing of Your Personal Data

Processing our customers’ personal data is necessary for us to provide the services we offer; therefore, we, as the Personal Data Controller, have a legitimate interest in such processing. Examples of personal data processing within the scope of legitimate interest:
 
- offering our products and services allows us to help you maximize the value you can derive from our partnership
- customer relationship management allows us to provide our services and address your requests, feedback, complaints, etc.
- delivery of messages, notifications, statements allows us to inform you of developments on your account (order status etc.)
- analysis of your profile and shopping behavior data allows us to:

    - offer bonuses, contests, sales
    - prevent and detect fraud and non-compliance
    - develop our CRM system and test updates

Which Personal Data Items We Process
 
- Basic identification – first and last name
- Contact information – principally e-mail address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and similar data items. This information allows us to contact you and deliver your purchases.
- Website usage and behavior data – this information tells us how you use our website (e.g. what purchases you have made)

 

Personal Data Recipients and Processors

The personal data you provide us is available only to us, and to our Data Processors in the extent required for their work. We do not provide personal data to any other parties. This does not, however, affect any obligation we may have to provide such data to entities legally entitled to demand it. Personal data processing on our behalf as Controller may only be performed by Data Processors contracted by us to do so. We select our Data Processors with a view to the guarantees they are able to provide of their technical and organizational capability to protect the data we provide. We provide personal data to the following authorized Data Processors:
 
- IT service providers, insofar as they require such data to support our digital operations and CRM system
- Providers of postal and communications services, including electronic communications services
- External contractors and suppliers, insofar as they require such data to execute their contracts with us (e.g. media and marketing agencies, publishers)

 

Storage Period of Your Personal Data at the Data Controller

We only store your personal data for the minimum necessary period; we archive some data as mandated by law (particularly, by accounting standards). We have in place strict internal regulations to monitor the legality of our retention of personal data, and we do not retain such data any longer than we are authorized to. Once our legal entitlement to retain personal data has expired, we delete our copies of all such data without delay.

 

Your Personal Data Protection Rights

We strive to process your personal data in a transparent and appropriate manner and in compliance with the law. You have the right to contact us at any time for information about how your personal data is being processed, and / or to exercise any of your rights related to personal data, which are listed below.

Right to Access Personal Data

You have the right to demand a full copy of all personal data pertaining to yourself that we process. You can see a list of the personal data we process once you log into your account at www.2dto3dstudio.com.

Right to Personal Data Rectification

If you believe that the personal data in our possession pertaining to yourself is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to demand we update and / or amend the data, or to do so yourself by logging into your account with us.

Right to Personal Data Erasure

You have the right to demand we erase our copy of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for us to process such data. Depending on the type of information you wish erased, this may result in the termination of your membership with us and / or in restrictions placed on your ability to enjoy the full benefits of said membership.

Right to Personal Data Portability

With automated processing, you have the right to demand your data be made portable. We will provide such data, against your e-mailed request, in XML format.

Right to Protest Personal Data Processing

You have the right to, at any time, protest our processing of your personal data. In that event, we will desist from any further processing of your personal data. However, depending on the type of personal data whose processing you have protested, this may result in the termination of your membership with us.

 

To exercise your rights relating to the processing of your personal data, email us at info (at) 2dto3dstudio.com. We will reply to personal data rights inquiries and demands within 14 days of the receipt of your request. We will thereafter keep you informed as to the status of your request to rectify, amend, destroy, or limit the processing of your personal data, except should informing you prove impossible or unreasonably costly.
